T580G er en større version af Lotus T380G. T580 er i stand til at bære ekstra 200g nyttelast end T380 så den kan bære et større kamera, et højere kapacitets batteri til længere flyvetid og bedst af alt et Lotus PTZ kamera montering (mere info nedenfor). Den større størrelse gør den også lidt mere stabil. Indeni er det, den samme futuristisk teknologi som findes i T380 med avanceret GPS-positionering og intelligent automatisk styring. Den teknologi, som findes i denne Quadrokopter findes normalt kun i meget dyrere modeller. GPS automatisk position hold, højde hold, automatisk start og landing og endda automatisk tilbagevenden til hjem på signaltab er alle fundet på denne model. Tjek dens fulde feature liste nedenfor.

Hvad betyder ARF? Dette er ARF versionen som står for næsten klar til at flyve. En ARF model har alt preinstalleret , men mangler batteriet, modtageren og transmitteren. Den er til kunderne som allerede har deres egne og som ikke har brug for at købe dem igen.

    I have two T580G. This is a great drone with a big presence in the air. GPS hold works a treat.
    Not for those inexperienced in R/C. You must tether with heavy weights before attempting to get this model in the air. It is not as simple as connecting a receiver. With the model tethered establish which two motors are clockwise CW and which two are counter-clockwise. Attach CW props to CW motors and CCW props to CCW motors. The yellow booms signify the front of the drone. IMPORTANT: At least one channel on the Tx will need to be reversed to fly the model. TX sticks need to be toed-out to unlock the motors, push throttle stick very slowly forward within one or two seconds. Still properly tethered down, check forward elevator causes model to bow/rock forward. Check right aileron causes the model to rock/bow to the right. At least one TX channel will need to be reversed! If the motors do not spin up the throttle channel needs to be reversed. Disconnect the drone battery before reversing the throttle channel - keep the drone tethered or it will quickly rise into the air. Once you are confident the model is responding to the TX in the normal manner observe the ultra bright LEDS hanging down below the body of the drone. Flashing white signifies drone has moved whilst tethered (6 axis gyro is working). One Red flash, 9 or more satellites are acquired. Two Red flashes 5 to 8 satellites. Three Red flashes less than five satellites. One Blue flash = Gear position 0, manual hover. Two Blue flashes = Gear position 1, GPS Hold Hover. Gear position 2 is GPS Return. Blue flashes turn Green when number of acquired satellites is high. ONLY FLY FROM A LARGE FIELD. NOT YOUR GARDEN. SERIOUS INJURY AND / OR DAMAGE IS LIKELY.
